The Barren County High School Athletics Hall of Fame is accepting nominations. To be considered for the 2026 class, nominations must be received by September 26th. Nomination forms and information can be found at:

BCHS picture day will be September 9th for grades 9th - 11th. Picture makeup day will be September 22nd for all grades including senior portraits.

They will be during lunches starting September 2nd. We will also offer an afterschool opportunity for ticket purchases on Wednesday 9/3 and Wednesday 9/10 from 4:00-7:00!

Celebrate Your Senior! Barren County High School Class of 2026 Yard Sign Fundraiser Now Open

The Barren County High School Class of 2026 is excited to announce a special fundraiser celebrating our seniors and raising money for upcoming senior events! Parents, grandparents, family members, and friends can now purchase custom yard signs featuring each senior’s official yearbook photo.

Each personalized yard sign costs $25, and there is no limit on how many you can order. Whether you're a proud mom, dad, grandparent, or supportive friend, this is a great way to honor your senior while supporting their final year of high school.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly toward funding senior class activities — including senior activity day, senior breakfast, and more.

Deadline to order: October 15, 2025

Design: Each sign will feature your senior’s official yearbook photo

Unlimited orders: Anyone can purchase – parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and neighbors are all welcome!

Hello, I am an artist and art educator, living in Bowling Green with my son and husband. I have worked with all levels of art students and look forward to becoming a part of the Barren County High School community! As a teacher I enjoy collaboration. I stress the importance of being engaged with artmaking in a meaningful way. Visual art is a valuable tool to see our world with fresh eyes and ultimately enrich ourselves.

Hi! My name is Kimberly Tuski, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to begin my journey at Barren County High School as an ECE teacher. I earned my bachelor’s degree from WGU and will be graduating in the spring with my master’s in Special Education from the University of the Cumberlands. I’m married to my wonderful husband, and we have twin daughters who definitely keep life interesting, along with our two cats! We are thrilled to share Barren County High School’s Advanced Placement results for the 2024-2025 academic year! Our students demonstrated remarkable performance, taking 496 AP exams with a 71% pass rate, resulting in 1052 earned college credit hours and scoring above the state averages in 11 courses. These results reflect the hard work and dedication of our students and teachers!

At BCHS both Advanced Placement and Dual Credit Courses provide educational opportunities that prepare students for college-level work and help reduce the time and cost of obtaining a degree while meeting individual goals for their future.

“Hi! I’m Alex Richardson, the new Computer Science Instructor at Barren County ATC. I’m a Glasgow native and spent the past 6 years working as a software engineer. I studied Computer Systems Technology at SKYCTC and I’m passionate about helping students build the skills they need to succeed in today’s tech driven world.
Outside of school, I’m a dad to my daughter Evie and two dogs, Ripley and Dallas. I’m also into gaming and sports. Looking forward to a great year!”

Hey everybody, I’m Jackson Coots and will be the full time sub here at my alma mater Barren County. I studied Middle Grades Social Studies Education at WKU and am excited to get to work in my hometown again. I hope to see familiar and new faces this year while shaping the next generation of learners. Fight on!

Hello, my name is Tucker Kirkpatrick. I am excited to work at BCHS. I am a college graduate of the University of The Cumberlands. I am engaged to my fiancé, Ashley Gearlds. I love to coach basketball and play golf. I am looking forward to working with the wonderful staff and students at BCHS.
