Principal's Message

Welcome to the new school year at Trojan Academy!

Our primary goal is to ensure a smooth and successful transition for our students from middle school to high school while continuing to strengthen their academic foundation. We are committed to helping each student achieve their best throughout the year. Our dedicated faculty and staff are here to support and meet the needs of each incoming freshman.

Freshmen at Trojan Academy will engage in four core 60-minute classes—English, science, math, and a rotation class covering physical education, health, and career and technology. In addition, they will have a 30-minute BC Essentials class period. For the final 90 minutes of the school day, students will attend elective courses at Barren County High School, the ATC, the Innovation Zone, or participate in JROTC. These electives include a diverse range of subjects such as JROTC, agriculture, business, family & consumer science, Spanish, biomedical science, engineering, and world civilization. They also have the opportunity to explore courses at the Barren County ATC, Innovation Zone, and various JROTC pathways.

I am excited to collaborate with our students, staff, parents, and community to support our students' success. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can call Trojan Academy at 270-629-5505 or email me at robert.bauer@barren.kyschools.us.

Looking forward to a great year!
